GeoTol - Tolerances of Form, Profile, Orientation and
RunOut
The GeoTol routine consists of the following
positional and form tolerance functions:
- Straightness
- Flatness
- Circularity
- Cylindricity
- Angularity
- Perpendicularity
- Parallelism
- Concentricity
- RunOut
After measuring a feature, pressing the GeoTol key
causes Geomet to display those routines which are applicable to the last
feature. The GeoTol tool reviews the last two measured or constructed
features and presets the GeoTol Wizard for applicable solutions. For
example, if the last two features were ID XY Circles , the possible
choices are: Circularity and Concentricity. The GeoTol Wizard is
adaptable to all feature combinations.
Special Relationship Routines
In certain cases, the GeoTol Wizard is not used.
These special cases have their own pull-down menu activation and are not
found on the GeoTol Wizard.
