Introduction

Geomet utilizes the Windows Registry system to save and retrieve many settings that control the behavior of Geomet. These settings are written during operations and at shutdown time. Geomet retrieves these values when starting and presets many unique characteristics that you have chosen.

The Windows Registry can become corrupted by abnormal conditions such as crashes or a power failure to name two.

One tool we use in supporting your Geomet system is to look at your registry settings to determine if there is any problem settings. For us to look at you registry settings, an export of the registry key is done. That resulting data file is then sent to us and we can review it.
