Evaluating your CMM can easily be done using a series of polar distance
readings and the optional
Ball Bar testing kit. Evaluating the results can be accomplished through
the example spread sheet. Complete instructions for the Ball Bar kit is
supplied with the Ball Bar kit.
To install the tutorial files, select from the list below the desired
example. Each file is a compressed .zip file. When you select a file,
Windows will prompt you to select to <Open>, <Save>
or <Cancel>. Select <Open> and you will
launch the WinZip Tool which will allow you to extract the files. Select
<Extract> and navigate to the folder where you would like
the examples saved to. When you have selected a destination folder, click
<Extract> and the files will be copied into that
destination folder.
